  • Tragus – Is it rejecting or infected? How can you tell?

Hi, I got my Tragus pierced 5 months ago and it’s still not healed. It’s red, sensitive, got crustys and a red bump on the front.
I went back to the piercing place today and they said it looks like it’s rejecting. I just want a second opinion to see what people think and if I can treat it before taking it out.
It’s not hot and there’s no puss but it’s been ages now and I thought it would look much better. Any suggestions?

Rejecting piercings are done with a needle, so you can see the needle go in and then pull out. Infected piercings are done with a piece of jewelry and a needle, so the jewelry goes in and comes out with the needle.
